Code of Conduct for Non-Teaching Staff

1. Professional Integrity & Discipline

  • Maintain honesty, integrity, and devotion to duty at all times.
  • Act impartially in all official dealings.
  • Follow institutional rules, hierarchy, and administrative decisions.

2. Attendance & Punctuality

  • Must be present during prescribed working hours.
  • No absence without prior permission except emergencies.
  • Habitual late coming or early leaving is subject to disciplinary action.

3. Duty & Responsibility

  • Perform duties assigned by authorities efficiently and sincerely.
  • May be required to work beyond normal hours if needed.
  • Complete tasks in a time-bound manner.

4. Behaviour & Professional Ethics

  • Maintain courteous and respectful behavior with students, teachers, and colleagues.
  • Avoid conflicts, provocation, or misconduct within campus.
  • Promote teamwork and a positive work environment.

5. Non-Discrimination

  • Do not discriminate on the basis of:
  • caste
  • religion
  • gender
  • language or nationality

6. Use of College Resources

  • Do not misuse college property or facilities for personal or political purposes.
  • Protect institutional property and maintain cleanliness (especially labs/offices).

7. Confidentiality

  • Maintain confidentiality of:
  • official documents
  • student/staff records
  • Do not share sensitive information without authorization.

8. Obedience to Authority

  • Follow decisions of:
  • Principal
  • administrative bodies
  • Do not refuse duties without valid reason.

9. Conduct Outside Workplace

  • Do not engage in:
  • political activities affecting the institution
  • demonstrations harming discipline or public order

10. Legal & Ethical Responsibility

  • Inform the college if involved in any legal/criminal case.
  • Avoid corruption, bribery, or unethical practices.

11. Grievance Procedure

  • Any complaints or grievances must be submitted through proper official channels
