Code of Conduct for Teachers

1. Professional Integrity

  • Teachers must maintain honesty, integrity, and fairness in all academic and administrative activities.
  • They should uphold the dignity of the teaching profession at all times.

2. Commitment to Teaching

  • Complete the syllabus within the prescribed time.
  • Prepare lessons thoroughly and deliver lectures effectively.
  • Use innovative and student-centric teaching methods.

3. Punctuality and Discipline

  • Be punctual for classes, meetings, and institutional duties.
  • Maintain regular attendance and avoid unnecessary leave.
  • Follow all institutional rules and regulations.

4. Relationship with Students

  • Treat all students with respect, equality, and impartiality.
  • Encourage critical thinking and academic growth.
  • Avoid harassment, discrimination, or favoritism of any kind.
  • Maintain appropriate teacher-student boundaries.

5. Academic Ethics

  • Avoid plagiarism and ensure originality in teaching and research.
  • Conduct fair and transparent evaluation of students.
  • Maintain confidentiality of student records and examination matters.

6. Behaviour with Colleagues

  • Maintain cordial and cooperative relationships with colleagues and staff.
  • Respect the authority of institutional heads and management.
  • Avoid conflicts and unprofessional conduct.

7. Institutional Responsibilities

  • Participate in:

8. Use of College Resources
